The Cofradía San Sebastian y San Fabian in Izalco, El Salvador, honor their patron saints with a two-day festival featuring Mass, a procession through the neighborhood, time for prayer, and great celebrations into the night, including fireworks. Cofradía members walk the streets in costume to collect funds, serenading the barrio with music and offering a festive atmosphere. They serve coffee, bread, and tamales.
